SPECIAL INTEREST

Aleutian Disease Surveillance in Mink (July 2008)
WDB Scott Stopak (ID) and an Idaho Fish and Game wildlife veterinarian are currently working to create a joint Aleutian Disease surveillance project in local mink ranches. Because this disease can be so costly to their operations, ranch managers/owners are very supportive of this proposed surveillance project and are willing to help in the collaborative effort.
