AG-Discovery (2008)
WDB Turnage participated in outreach to high school students as part of the AG-Discovery Program (collaboration between University of Arkansas at Pinebluff and APHIS).

Arkansas collects various samples for CWD testing (2008)
WDB Turnage assisted personnel with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to conduct a white-tailed deer herd health check. Five adult does were harvested, fetuses were measured to determine time of conception, kidney fat and body weights were analyzed to assess overall health. Brain stems and retropharyngeal lymph nodes were submitted for CWD testing.
