Threatened and Endangered Species |
Colorado |
![]() |
Millions of Colorado residents and visitors go to outdoor areas every year to see wildlife. As the human population grows and land gets developed, the natural areas in which animals live in Colorado decrease. Efforts have been put forth by Wildlife Services, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the Colorado Division of Wildlife to reestablish self-sustaining populations of threatened and endangered species with this State. |
