Wyoming

Visitors and residents of Wyoming enjoy a diverse and bountiful wildlife population that exists within urban areas as well as the surrounding countryside.  With this plethora of wildlife also comes the potential for significant damage to aircraft and a threat to public health and safety.  To address wildlife hazards at airports, WS personnel in Wyoming contributed 0.392 staff years to provide assistance at 7 civil and 1 joint use airport in FY 2010.  In addition, technical training was provided at 3 airports for 35 airport personnel.
