Ohio

From 1990 to 2008, the Federal Aviation Administration reported more than 3,334 wildlife strikes resulting in over $16 million in damages to aircraft at Ohio airports.  To address wildlife hazards at airports, WS personnel in Ohio contributed 4.103 staff years to provide assistance at 28 civil, 7 joint use, and 1 military airport in FY 2010 for a total of 36 airports.  In addition, technical training was provided at 7 airports for 42 airport personnel.
