Iowa

WS works with the Federal Aviation Administration and WS’ National Wildlife Research Center to reduce threats to air traffic safety.  During FY 2010, the Iowa WS program contributed 2.237 staff years to provide assistance at 12 civil and 2 joint use airports.  In addition, technical training was provided at 6 airports for 48 airport personnel.
