The Colorado WS program contributed 8.949 staff years to provide assistance at 16 civilian, 1 joint use, and 2 military airports for a total of 19 airports in FY 2010.  In addition, technical training was provided at 9 airports, and 141 airport personnel received the training.  In addition to providing training and advice, WS also works onsite to resolve wildlife conflicts.  For these airports, the most significant risk to human lives is the presence of wildlife lingering on or around the airfields.  Therefore, Colorado WS personnel focus on managing wildlife and their environments in these areas.
