California

California, with nine percent of the Nation’s busiest airports, transports more than 177 million passengers annually into and out of the busiest migratory bird corridor in North America.  As a result, WS in California contributed 13.207 staff years to assist 22 civil, 2 joint use, and 5 military airports for a total of 29 airports assisted in FY 2010.  In addition, technical training was provided at 3 airports for 61 airport personnel.
