Wildlife hazards at airports have become a major concern due to the potential for significant damage to aircraft and the threat posed to public health and safety.  To address these hazards, WS personnel in Guam contributed 1.41 staff years to provide assistance at 4 civil and 1 military airport for a total of 5 airports in FY 2010.  Three of the airports are located in the Pacific Islands and are part of U.S. Commonwealth.  Technical training was provided at 4 airports for 16 airport personnel.
