These files are presented by the United States Department of Agriculture: Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service: Veterinary Services ( USDA:APHIS:VS ) but are written and maintained by each State. For clarification on any of the rules and regulations, contact the State veterinarian. They are listed within each State file and in the OFFICIAL file below.

Information about importing dogs and cats into the U.S. may be found on the Centers for Disease Control page, and in the Code of Federal Regulations Title 9 Part 93:600.
