ANIMAL PRODUCTS EXPORTED TO LATVIA

Latvia became a member of the European Union (EU) on May 1, 2004. The EU has harmonized import requirements for certain animal origin product. For harmonized certificates, please refer to the general information file for the European Union. Exporters must have their importers confirm with the appropriate Ministry of Animal Health that Latvia will accept product on the appropriate EU certificates prior to shipment.
