APHIS values its many stakeholders and is committed to keeping all interested individuals, groups and organizations informed about relevant Agency news and information.
2012 Agriculture Stakeholder Conference: Pests Pathways, and Partnerships On July 17 and 18, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will host the 2012 Agriculture Stakeholder Conference: Pests Pathways, and Partnerships in Riverdale, MD. APHIS and CBP are committed to carrying out our joint agricultural mission: to stop the introduction of foreign plant pests and animal diseases at our border. We look forward to discussing the future of Agricultural Quarantine Inspection initiatives and to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share their thoughts on the Agency’s critical services. On Monday, February 27, 2012, APHIS hosted a public meeting to discuss the Agency's budget, process improvement efforts, and modernization initiatives and give stakeholders the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the Agency's critical services.
