Notice If you have any questions or concerns regarding these regulations for exporting animals or animal products to a foreign country, you should contact the APHIS-VS Area Office in the State from which the animals or products will be exported. Animal Products to Indonesia *ALERT - Endorsement of Export Certificates Export (health) certificates for Indonesia MUST BE endorsed PRIOR to the shipping (bill of lading) date. Indonesia has notified APHIS Veterinary Services (VS) that they will NOT recognize the validity of export certificates dated AFTER the date of shipping (bill of lading). Exporters must obtain their export certificates prior to shipping. *ALERT - Export of ruminant Meat-and-Bone Meal (MBM) As of July 2012, Indonesia will only accept U.S. origin ruminant MBM manufactured by integrated (packer) rendering facilities which have been approved by Indonesia and APHIS. An integrated renderer is co-located with a slaughter facility and only obtains raw materials from the slaughter facility. Questions regarding eligibility of ruminant MBM facilities should be directed to the APHIS/VS National Center for Import and Export (NCIE) Animal Products Exports Staff.
