Animal Products to Denmark

Denmark is a member state of the European Union. The European Union has harmonized requirements for certain animal origin products. For harmonized protocols, please refer to the general information file for the European Union.

Information specific to Denmark is included below.

Denmark requires the Danish importer to obtain an import permit (from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration) for the import of almost all animal-origin commodities.
