If you have any questions or concerns regarding these regulations for exporting animals or animal products to a foreign country, you should contact the APHIS-VS Area Office in the State from which the animals or products will be exported.
Animal Products to Colombia
Colombia prohibits poultry, poultry products and egg products from States considered affected with avian influenza. Poultry products or products containing poultry ingredients that have been subjected during manufacturing or processing to a minimum temperature of 70°C for at least 10 minutes or 80°C for at least 3 minutes may be allowed entry from the prohibited States.
Currently Colombia prohibits poultry, poultry products and egg products from the following States:
Idaho and Oregon (effective September 9, 2008)
Arkansas (effective June 9, 2008)
Kentucky (effective March 15, 2009)
Minnesota (effective August 4, 2009)
