Regulations and Assessments
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these regulations for exporting animals or animal products to a foreign country, you should contact the APHIS-VS Area Office in the State from which the animals or products will be exported.
Animal Products to Colombia
Colombia prohibits poultry, poultry products and egg products from any States considered affected with avian influenza. Poultry products or products containing poultry ingredients from such States must have been subjected during manufacturing or processing to a minimum temperature of 70°C for at least 10 minutes or 80°C for at least 3 minutes.
Resolution 1716 restricts the following animal products derived from Polk County, Missouri, produced on or after April 15, 2011: Table eggs (fresh), poultry meat (raw). Processed products are believed to not be restricted. For other avian products derived from this location an import permit should be requested in order to determine eligibility.
