International Animal Product Export Regulations

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these regulations for exporting animals or animal products to a foreign country, you should contact the APHIS-VS Area Office in the State from which the animals or products will be exported.

Animal Products to Chile

Chile's Animal Health Department (Departmento de Protección Pecuaria, Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero, Ministerio de Agricultura) in their resolution 6539/2011 requires that certification statements in all animal health certificates be in Spanish as well as the national language of the certifying country.

Dairy for human consumption produced in the United States should be certified by USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. AMS has an approved bilingual certificate for Chile.
