Notice If you have any questions or concerns regarding these regulations for exporting animals or animal products to a foreign country, you should contact the APHIS-VS Area Office in the State from which the animals or products will be exported. Animal Products to Chile Chile's Animal Health Department (Departmento de Protección Pecuaria, Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero, Ministerio de Agricultura) in their resolution 6539/2011 requires that certification statements in all animal health certificates be in Spanish as well as the national language of the certifying country. Effective August 1, 2007, Chile SAG and Chile Ministry of Health have confirmed that dairy products for human consumption should be certified by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. Chile has accepted the USDA AMS generic certificate as the appropriate document for these products.
