Animal Products to Chile

Chile's Animal Health Department (Departmento de Protección Pecuaria, Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero, Ministerio de Agricultura) in their resolution 6539/2011 requires that certification statements in all animal health certificates be in Spanish as well as the national language of the certifying country.

Effective August 1, 2007, Chile SAG and Chile Ministry of Health have confirmed that dairy products for human consumption should be certified by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. Chile has accepted the USDA AMS generic certificate as the appropriate document for these products.
