Call for Papers

Submission of Abstracts and Papers:

  • Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts in any of the subject areas listed in the program outline.

  • Please indicate if you are interested in giving an oral presentation as the program committee will review these abstracts and select several for oral presentations to round out the subject matter presented at the workshop (the balance of the abstracts will be presented as posters). The contact author of each submission will be notified of acceptance by email. Upon acceptance as an oral presenter, authors will be required to submit written papers for publication in the proceedings. Authors of posters that would like to submit written papers are welcome. All papers must be written in English, with the length not exceeding 5,000 words or 10 pages (including figures and tables). The paper must be carefully checked for grammar and spelling. Papers must include: the title, author(s), affiliation(s), contact details, a list of keywords, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and a list of references. To avoid lost papers, an email must be sent to the workshop chair Gloria Abad and co-chairs David Cooke and Frank Martin including: category of paper, title, authors' affiliation, and an abstract of the paper submitted.

  • All abstracts and accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings that will be available at the time of the workshop.

  • We are going to follow the ICPP meeting format for abstracts and posters. Presentations made at the ICPP meeting may be repeated at the workshop. Invited speakers are welcome to submit abstracts for sessions outside the scope of their invited presentations.

Registration Information:

  • At least one author of an accepted paper must be registered for the workshop.

  • The cost of the workshop is €250.00 (Euros) per person – this includes coffee breaks and light lunch.

  • Please register through the ICPP 2008 Registration Form (see Pre-Congress Workshops).

  • If registration fees are not received by January 15, 2008, the corresponding paper will not be published in the workshop proceedings.  Registration by this date is required by the IPPC.
