MEDIA ADVISORY: USDA Distributes Oral Rabies Vaccine on Cape Cod
YARMOUTH, Mass., Oct. 28, 2010 – Representatives from wildlife services (WS), a program within the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, and cooperators will be available to discuss Massachusetts’ oral rabies vaccination bait distribution program.
The Cape Cod, Mass., project will cover parts of the state and distribute 11,313 baits by bait stations and 12,408 by hand in the towns of Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Chatham and Orleans.
