USDA Seeks Comment on Draft Pest Risk Analysis on Importation of Sweet Limes from Mexico

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is advising the public that it has prepared a pest risk analysis that evaluates the risks associated with the importation of sweet limes from Mexico into the continental United States. Based on that analysis, APHIS has concluded that the application of one or more designated phytosanitary measures will be sufficient to mitigate the pest risk. APHIS is making the pest risk analysis available to the public for review and comment.
This action is published in today’s June 10 Federal Register.
Consideration will be given to comments received on or before Aug. 9. You may submit comment by either of the following methods:
