Contact: USDA Announces Public Meeting on Traceability for Livestock Moving Interstate and the Bovine Tuberculosis Program WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 2011--The Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Animal Health will hold a public meeting on Friday, Sept. 23 from noon to 5 p.m. (EST) to consider and discuss various aspects of the recently published proposed rule on traceability for livestock moving interstate. This meeting will be a multi-site teleconference. Members of the public who wish to listen to the teleconference should call 1-888-790-3291 and then enter passcode 1411045. Public attendees can only participate in “listen only” mode. Questions and written comments can be sent up to five days in advance of the teleconference.
