Purpose 

This Subsection describes conditions for granting military leave for members of the D.C. National Guard under 5 U.S.C. 6323(c).


Eligibility 

Employees who are members of the National Guard.


Amount of Military Leave That May Be Granted

Eligible employees are entitled to leave for all days of any parade, encampment, or other service that may be ordered by proper authority to perform. This leave is in addition to the leave for training and duty u nder 5 U.S.C. 6323(a).

If a member of the D.C. National Guard is ordered to perform duties in aid of law enforcement under 5 U.S.C. 6323(b), military leave will be charged and civilian pay adjusted in accordance with those provisions.
