Purpose of this Subchapter

This Subchapter provides a summary of the USDA performance management process to managers, supervisors, and employees of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and the Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA).  The links located within this guide can be used to access additional information that will be helpful in successfully managing performance.
