The Training & Development Branch:
- Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates APHIS leadership/supervisory development programs and professional development programs
- Provides administration, coordination, and consultation on the use of Ag Learn
- Coordinates and tracks completion of mandatory civil rights training
- Develops and implements training policies
- Administers and interprets leadership assessment instruments (e.g. Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator, Emotional Intelligence instrument, 360 degree leadership assessment, and etc.)
- Provides consultation and advice on the use of APHIS’ Leadership Development Toolkit and development of Individual Learning Plans/Learning Contracts.
