HRD's Human Resources Policy Branch activities include, but are not limited to, developing and providing policy and guidance on the following MRP Mission area wide programs: 

  • Awards (Employees Only)
  • Classification, organizational analysis and structural changes, and position management
  • Employment regulations, laws, and procedures
  • Pay, leave, and tours of duty
  • Performance Management (Employees Only)
  • Reduction-in-force

The Human Resources Policy Branch also works with operating personnel offices, program managers, and employees to implement new personnel management initiatives and reviews necessitated by changes in legislation, regulation, or to meet unique needs within the mission area.
