HRD's Employment, Classification & Compensation Policy Branch (ECCPB) activities include, but are not limited to, developing and providing policy and guidance on the following MRP Mission area wide programs: 

  • Position management and classification
  • Organizational analysis
  • Merit promotion, qualification standards, and special employment programs
  • Reduction-in-force
  • Pay, leave, and tours of duty

The ECCPB also works with operating personnel offices, program managers, and employees to implement new personnel management initiatives, pilots, and reviews necessitated by changes in legislation, regulation, or to meet unique needs with the mission area.
