Transitional Coaching

ESLS will provide five types of distinctly different coaching services, utilizing a combination of internal and external coaches.  The type of coaching services required will be determined on an individual case-by case basis in consultation with an Executive Consultant from ESLS.  These five types of coaching services are available to all APHIS leaders:  

Transitional Coaching – Transitional coaching focuses on helping leaders adapt to a new work environment.  This may include:

As people make these job and career changes, they are more likely to focus on the immediate tasks of the position, rather than working through the internal, less tangible aspects of the transition itself. ESLS has developed a systematic approach for supporting leaders during these times of changes and transitions.

How does a Leader initiate the Coaching Process?

Individual leaders within APHIS are encouraged to contact ESLS for coaching support.  The Executive Consultants will work with individuals to determine the appropriate coaching resource; additionally ESLS may recommend and initiate coaching as well. 

Transitional Coaching - can come about from several ways.
