The President has called many Reservists to active duty to provide port operations, medical support, engineer support, general civil support, and homeland defense. If you have an employee who is called to active duty, please submit the following to Human Resources:

1. SF-52 Notification of Personnel Action. Please indicate LWOP-US in the Action Requested block if the individual is taking leave without pay for military purposes. If the employee wishes to resign instead of taking leave without pay, the Action Requested block is completed as Separation-US; and

2. A copy of the active duty orders. The orders may be mailed to us at USDA, APHIS, MRPBS, HRO, 100 North 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55403, or faxed to (612) 370-2209.
