Height Adjustable Workstations

Did you know one of the best things you can do for your body is move?  That’s right, movement throughout the day may help reduce musculoskeletal discomfort and improve your work performance.  The use of a height adjustable workstation is one method to incorporate movement into your work day as it allows the worker to change between sitting and standing postures.

More and more employees are standing to do computer work, reading/writing tasks, laboratory tasks, and industrial tasks.  But be aware – standing in a static posture is even more tiring than sitting in a static posture, so movement is important!   Check out the ways APHIS employees are already standing to work.
