The Safety, Health, and Environmental Protection Branch (SHEPB) provides technical, regulatory, and related management services to the APHIS community in order to achieve a safe and healthful environment. This accomplished by managing the Agency programs for safety and health, industrial hygiene, biosafety, ergonomics, environmental protection, workers’ compensation, and the drug-free workplace. This branch also provides information and makes available resources so that employees can do their work in a safe, healthy, and ergonomic friendly environment.
