The Emergency Management and Homeland Security Branch is a multi-disciplined staff working to bring "over-all" APHIS coordination to Emergency Management and Homeland Security initiatives undertaken by Agency program components. The EMHS Branch interfaces with the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Coordination as the coordination point for all APHIS information request and correspondence. The ESF #11 Program is housed and managed out of EMHS Branch which also provides coordination and support to the Emergency Management Leadership Council’s (EMLC) efforts to prepare for emergencies. This branch carries out the following tasks:
