The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) temporary suspension on importing dogs from high-risk rabies remains in effect through July 31, 2024. For more details, visit the CDC.

Dogs imported for commercial sale or adoption must meet both APHIS Animal Care and APHIS Veterinary Services requirements. Additionally, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has import requirements for dogs that will need to be met.
