Propagative Monitoring and Release Program

In April 2012, APHIS began implementation of a risk-based sampling approach for the inspection of imported plants for planting.  Part of this approach was the establishment of the Propagative Monitoring and Release Program (PMRP).  Under PMRP, consignments of plants for planting that pose an extremely low risk will be periodically monitored but not every consignment be inspected.  See the following table for a list of commodities eligible for entry via PMRP.
