Importation of Plants for Planting

NAPPRA (Not Authorized Pending Pest Risk Analysis)
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has established a new category of regulated articles in the regulations governing the importation of plants for planting, commonly known as the Q37 regulations.  This revision allows APHIS to maximize protection of U.S. agriculture from foreign pests that could enter this country while minimizing adverse economic and trade impacts.  This new category lists taxa of plants for planting whose importation is not authorized pending pest risk analysis (NAPPRA).  Learn More >>
