Instructions for Submitting Comments*
Step 1: Identify the "specific text" you are commenting on;
Step 2: Write The specific proposed text changes (Rewrite the text
the way it should read); and
Step 3: Include the supporting scientific rationale for your proposed
change of the text.
(All comments should be clearly stated, specific to the text within the proposed document, and supported by a scientific rationale.)*
The OIE's Aquatic Animal Health Standards Commission met in October 2006 to discuss various topics. Attached are 24 documents for comment resulting from that meeting. The documents relate to aquatic animal diseases and associated trade issues. All of the chapters presented for comment may be proposed for adoption at the May 2007 General Session.
Please send us your comments in the requested format by January 25, 2007. This will allow us time to collate and review all comments and meet the OIE's comment response due date. If you have any questions concerning this matter please contact our office at 301-734-5324.
The seven (7) chapters for comment in Section 1, are either new or have been completely re-written, therefore, you may comment on any part of the text in each document. Please identify the article in the chapter you are commenting on, propose new language, (if any) and provide a scientific/objective rationale for your change.
