*SPECIAL CATEGORY REGARDING SVD BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH THE COUNTRY/AREA HAS BEEN DETERMINED BY USDA TO BE FREE OF SVD, ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OCCUR:
(1) They supplement their national pork supply by the importation of fresh, chilled, or frozen pork from countries/regions where SVD is considered by the USDA to exist; or
(2) They have a common land border with such countries/regions; or
(3) They have trade practices that are less restrictive than are acceptable to the United States.
NOTE: The table above is modified only when there are changes to the disease status of countries or regions.
