Decontamination Procedures

Personal Hygiene

No smoking, eating, drinking, chewing gum or tobacco, taking medication, or applying cosmetics will take place within the contaminated area.

These activities are restricted to the clean area and can be conducted only after the workers have washed face, hands, and forearms in the decon area.
In addition, at the end of each day, after protective equipment is removed, each person will wash face, hands, and forearms before leaving.
