What is the EMLC?
The EMLC was created by the APHIS Management Team (AMT) to provide leadership and guidance to facilitate the strengthening of APHIS’ emergency and homeland security preparedness and response capabilities. The EMLC is comprised of executive-level managers within APHIS. This body serves at the direction of the APHIS Administrator and reports to the AMT. The APHIS Associate Administrator chairs the EMLC and the OEMHS director serves as facilitator at its meetings. OEMHS provides administrative support and guidance to the EMLC.
