APHIS Summer Intern Program
USDA-APHIS offers paid summer internships involving substantive work assignments to college students/high graduated who have been accepted by a college or university.
This program is intended to help agencies attract and recruit exceptional individuals into the federal workforce.

Students apply for the vacancies and a certificate of eligibles and applications are forwarded to the selecting officials for the selection process

Pay Scale

| GS - 4 | $6,030 | GS - 5 | $6,745 |
| GS - 7 | $8,357 | GS - 9 | $10,224 |
*Based on 12-week work assignment
(assuming at least a 3.1% increase for FY 2006)
*Salary is paid for by the employing program
