Current Research: 
Management and sometimes local eradication of invasive species with a current focus on rodents, mongoose, parakeets, and tree frogs.

Dean began his career with the National Wildlife Research Center in 2010. Much of his work has been dedicated to utilizing and developing methods and tools for managing invasive species. His current focus is managing invasive rodents in the insular Pacific region.
