USDA-APHIS-Animal Care Engages Actively in Outreach
We have been busy attending and preparing for national and State conferences, including FEMA's Individual Assistance/ESF 6 Conference; National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster Meeting; the Joint Summer Conference for Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia Veterinary Medical Associations; the American Veterinary Medical Association National Meeting; and the Utah Emergency Animal Response Coalition Animals in Disaster Workshop. In addition ACEP staff and field personnel have been meeting with many States and national partners to discuss pet issues.
