Veterinary Accreditation

Divider

National Accreditation Number

Each accredited veterinarian will be assigned a National Accreditation Number. This number will be used for the following:

1.

to print certificates of completion after an accredited veterinarian has taken supplemental training modules for renewal of accreditation: Supplemental Training

2.

to complete official documents that require an National Accreditation Number

3.

to help identify the record of an accredited veterinarian in our database

Your National Accreditation Number does not authorize you to perform accredited duties nationally. You must seek authorization from the Area Veterinarian in Charge for each State in which you wish to perform accredited duties. For more information, click here: Applying for Authorization in Different States

Still have questions? See Additional Information or contact your local Area Office.
