Agriculture Emergency Response Training - FY2008 - AgERT is an all-hazards, agriculture-oriented emergency response course. Sponsored by the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS), the course is conducted at Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, AL, a unit of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Veterinary Services Careers Program (VSCP) - A recruitment and training program established to meet the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) needs for highly skilled, forward-looking, well-trained employees—primarily within VS. Formerly called the Public Veterinary Practice Careers Program.

Smith Kilborne Program - This program is designed to acquaint veterinary students with various foreign animal diseases which potentially threaten our domestic animal population.
