Thank you to all the contestants who took time to send in their “Favorite Bird Pictures.”
We appreciate seeing them and are glad for the opportunity to share them with the website viewers who love birds. 

Judging the contest was difficult because of all the wonderful entries.  The judges, the APHIS photographer and APHIS Public Affairs and Veterinary Services staff members, considered composition, color, focus, integrity/quality of the image, printing resolution and size needs as well as our needs for the 2011 calendar.

We will keep the images on line for all to enjoy, and the winners will see their photos in the 2011 Biosecurity For Birds calendar.
