commonwealth.

agriculture industry is extremely diverse. Some of Pennsylvania’s
top economic enterprises include dairy; cattle and calves; greenhouse
and nursery products; poultry and eggs; mushrooms and hogs.
Pennsylvania is taking great strides to promote and protect human
and animal health. Regulatory and research programs are put in
place to enhance disease prevention and tackle food safety concerns,
providing for a safer, more abundant food supply and maintaining
the state’s tradition of agricultural excellence.
