Ag-Discovery at Kentucky State University (KSU)

Divider

The Land-Grant Program at Kentucky State University (KSU) and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)—an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)—are joining forces to sponsor Ag-DISCOVERY.  Many of the Federal Government's professional veterinarians work for APHIS.  The National Civil Rights Leadership Committee of the agency’s Veterinary Services program and Kentucky State are funding Ag-DISCOVERY, and the university is hosting program participants on its campus in Frankfort, KY.  The university will make a variety of animal species available to Ag-DISCOVERY students.  Every participant will work with live animals during the summer.  Dr. John Hollis, of APHIS’ Veterinary Services, and Dr. Kimberly Holmes, of Kentucky State, will facilitate the program.

Visit the Kentucky State University (KSU) web site for further information.
