Ag-Discovery at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University

Divider

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)—an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)—are joining forces to sponsor Ag-DISCOVERY.  Many of the Federal Government's professional veterinarians work for APHIS.  APHIS is funding Ag-DISCOVERY, and Florida A&M is hosting program participants on its campus in Tallahassee, FL.  The university will make a variety of animal species available to Ag-DISCOVERY students.  Every participant will work with live animals during the summer.  Dr. Ray Mobley and Dr. Thomas E. Peterson, of the Animal Science and Cooperative Extension program, will facilitate the session.

Visit the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University web site for further information.
